Medina Soil Activator
Soil Activator is manufactured through a series of controlled fermentations. The resultant liquid has the capacity to create desired changes to soils when applied at low rates of application. Soil tilth is enhanced resulting in the increased water and air uptake and holding of the soil. Nutrients contained in the soil also become more available to support the growth of native vegetation or cultivated crops.
Over time it became apparent that Medina Soil Activator did more than simply affect soil tilth. Farmers using the product began to notice that the product affected the productivity of salt impacted soils. Soils that were yearly becoming less and less productive because of salt accumulation began to show a reversal towards normal crop production when treated with Soil Activator. Corn farmers using atrazine (an organic compound) for weed control found that Soil Activator helped relieve herbicide residuals that are problematic when rotating to small grain crops.
